How to mint BTC to tBTC using CoinList. Guide
This operation will be simple for you and you don’t need to have special technical skills.
- You need to visit CoinList account and register there if you still not (https://coinlist.co).
2. You have to pass verification (if you still not) to have access for minting.
3. Fund you account (If you have no funds there). On the main page (Dashboard) find the “Fund your wallet” button and push it (it’s in the right side of page)
You have option to deposit any of the coins displayed on image below or USD fiat currency (not only BTC, but included it). In my guide, I show how to deposit USDT and how to convert it to tBTC in few steps.
Choose one of this currencies to deposit and find it in list. Choose desired currency and tap “Deposit”.
Agree here and click “I Understand” (make sure that you read all required info!)
Now you will see your deposit address (send only chosen coin to this address!) Copy it. This is receiver address. You need to send chosen coin to this address from your wallet.
Now wait till your transaction will be proceed. When it will be ready — you should get email notification.
4. Once your account funded, navigate to “Buy & Sell” button and click it (in the left site of page).
Now choose pair: Buy — Bitcoin and “With” (your funded currency). Than fill amount and tap “Preview order”
If everything OK, Confirm Order
Congratulation! You bought BTC :) Now push “View your BTC wallet”
And here is the moment! Now tap “Mint”
Choose “TBTC”, set amount and click “Review”
If everything looks as desired — push “Confirm Mint”
Wow! You did it! This is ticked for your Bitcoin to DeFi :) Tap “View tBTC Wallet” to see available options
Here you can see the option to Redeem your tBTC, withdraw or deposit it. Let see how easey to redeem your tBTC back to BTC. Choose “Redeem”
Than set amount and tap “Review”
Confirm Conversion
That’s all! tBTC converted successfully!
You can mint tBTC and convert it back to BTC as many times, as you wish. Now you able to be owner of TRUE Bitcoin on Ethereum network.
